ANR Group Inc is a recruiting company based in Richland,  Washington  and we are now accepting internship applications for the 2025 School Year and Summer Session.  ANR has contracts with Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS)  and Navarro-ATL (Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration –  HLMI)  to recruit students for their summer intern programs on the Department of Energy site (Hanford site)  in Richland,  WA.

Responsibilities

The Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS)  provides Hanford Site Services,  which include adequate and reliable water,  power,  road maintenance,  information technology,  safeguards and security,  sitewide safety standards,  training and countless more integrated services and deliverables across the Hanford Site.

HMIS internships are open to students enrolled in Business,  Engineering,  Environmental Science,  Biology,  Chemistry,  Physics,  Finance,  Accounting,  Juris Doctor,  History,  Information Technology,  Law Enforcement,  Sports Medicine/Fitness,  Education,  Criminal Justice,  Fire Protection,  Construction Management,  Safety &  Health,  Emergency Planning and more.  Hourly rates range from $22 to $29 per hour depending on the degree program and class standing.

 

Navarro-ATL’s mission is to provide analytical services for the tank waste mission along with integrated and cost-effective support of Hanford Site contractors.  Navarro-ATL are responsible for operating the 222-S Laboratory (a Hazard Category 3 nuclear facility)  in a safe,  compliant,  effective,  and efficient manner.  This includes maintaining the facilities and equipment efficiently to provide increased reliability to meet mission needs and demonstrate operational readiness to support enhanced operations to meet the needs of Direct Feed Low-Activity Waste (DFLAW)  and continued Tank Farm mission sample analysis.

NAVARRO-ATL internships are open to students with  Junior or Senior class standing  enrolled in Business,  Engineering,  Chemistry,  Biology,  Construction Management,  Environmental Safety,  Public Relations,  English,  Health and Quality programs and more.  The hourly rate for Juniors is $24.15 and Seniors is $26.46 per hour.

 

These intern programs allow students to obtain real world experience in their field of study and each intern is assigned a mentor that works with the student during the entire internship.  In addition to gaining valuable experience,  the interns are paid for the hours they work,  and typically run for 10-14 weeks depending on the student’s availability.

Qualifications

Requirements for the HMIS Internship Program:

US Citizen

18 years of age or older at the beginning of the internship

Recent high school graduates enrolled full-time in a college or university,  and full-time students (12+  credit hours)  during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate.

Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Requirements for the HLMI Internship Program:

US Citizen

18 years of age or older at the beginning of the internship

Junior or Senior class standing,  fulltime students (12+  credit hours)  during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate.

Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
