Seed Internships,  a program of Degrees of Change,  is a 10-week summer experience that combines a paid professional internship and professional development curriculum.  The program is designed for aspiring professionals looking to get real world hands-on professional experience.  The weekly required professional development workshops put college students around other interns to share their experience while learning the necessary tools to successfully navigate the summer and beyond.

Internship start and end dates are determined by the intern and employer partner,  but weekly professional development sessions will occur June 13 -  August 15,  2025.

  • All employers based in the Puget Sound region (Pierce and King counties)
  • Work formats:  on-site,  hybrid,  and remote depending on employer
  • All internships are paid -  minimum $18 per hour wages
  • 32+  hour work week
  • Range of internship positions across industries,  including finance,  accounting,  healthcare,  communications,  engineering,  architecture,  small business,  non-profit,  education,  and more
